"Fiddler on the Roof" is a timeless musical that tells the story of Tevye, a Jewish milkman in early 20th-century Russia, and his family's struggles amidst changing traditions and societal pressures. The musical is known for its heartwarming portrayal of love, faith, and resilience, set against a backdrop of humor, drama, and memorable songs like "Tradition," "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," and "Sunrise, Sunset." It's a celebration of heritage, exploring themes of family, community, and the pursuit of happiness in the face of adversity.
New Location!
The venue for the upcoming performance of Fiddler on the Roof will be at a new location - the Stars Auditorium at Imaginx, formerly Living Arts College in Wakefield. With its state-of-the-art facilities, this space is sure to provide an even better experience for all attendees. Noah Alexander (Ensemble)
Noah is excited to be making his PoiemArtistry debut. He attends Thales
Academy. Noah loves basketball, tech production as well as acting, singing, and dancing. Thank you to Poiema Arts for this great opportunity to be a part of Fiddler on the Roof!

Stephen Alexander (Featured Soloist)
Stephen is making his PoiemArtistry debut! He attended University of the Nations, where he received a certificate in Audio Production. Stephen led music discipleship schools where he taught vocal performance, music theory and audio production. He enjoys vocal performance and won best vocal performance at Wakefield High School in 2007-2008. Stephen performed in Amahl’s and The Night Visitors at Meredith College in 2009. He is a full time Worship Pastor at Newpath Church in Raleigh.
Landon Betts (Fyedka)
Landon is so excited to be playing the role of “Fyedka”! Learning, not just this character, but also the Russian accent and dancing that comes along with it has been an absolute pleasure and joy. Landon joined Poiema a little over three years ago. He is currently a senior at Liberty University majoring in Strategic Communications. Some of the things Landon loves to do apart from theater would include going to the “theater” to see films, playing sports, traveling, lifting weights, and running! He would like to thank the Lord for drawing him to Poiema. Landon has made lifelong friends and family that he is incredibly thankful for and he has learned so much through the arts. He is so excited to be a part of this cast and cannot for everyone to see this wonderful show.
Madelyn Bigham (Tzeitel/Grandma Tzeitel)
Madelyn is currently a BFA Professional Acting major at ECU! She is so excited to share this show with you! Past credits include Bye Bye Birdie (Temple Theatre Company), Treasure Island (Apex Peak Players), Seussical the Musical (Temple Theatre Company), Oh, Kay (White Iris Light Opera), and Seussical the Musical (Apex Peak Players.) Maddie is also a Temple Teen Ensemble Alumni! She would like to thank the Greens for this wonderful opportunity! She would also like to thank the cast and crew for being so kind and welcoming!! Last but not least her grandmother, Millie, for her continuous support!
Mark Boone (Priest/Russian)
Mark has been the CEO of Markus Group Ltd since 1998. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees from NC State. Prior to starting Markus Group, Mark worked as a Senior Scientist at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory and in the defense industry as a Marketing Manager. He has been married to Joanne Boone for 43 years. They have four grown children and 8 grandchildren. Mark is making his theater debut with Fiddler on The Roof.
John Cashwell (Featured Soloist/Lazar Wolf)
John is originally from NY where he graduated with a Bachelor of Vocal Performance from SUNY Purchase's Conservatory of Music. Reviews have stated “his tenor voice is remarkable for its great range, power, flexibility, and expressiveness." and “with clarity, perfect diction, and velvety texture, his voice is commanding”.
On the stage, Mr. Cashwell has performed such roles as Albert Herring in Britten's opera Albert Herring, Candide in Bernstein's Candide, Rinuccio in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, the Caliph in Wright and Forrest's Kismet, King Caspar in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors, Captain Silvio in Bizet's Le Docteur Miracle, Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Boheme, Le Remendado in Bizet’s Carmen, Goro in Puccini's Madam Butterfly, Spoletta in Puccini's Tosca, Ruiz in Verdi's Il Trovatore, Matt in The Fantasticks, and Tom Harris in the international debut of Strange Fruits. Several of those performances were right here in Raleigh at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts.
Mr. Cashwell won the GMA International Songwriter of the Year in Nashville TN and appeared as a singer on FOX 50’s “Gimme the Mike” television show. He also was featured in a showcase concert in Nashville during Dove Awards week, along with Twila Paris, Fred Hammond, and Cindy Morgan. He has enjoyed some fun years performing as a keyboardist with a former NYC-based progressive rock band. Venues included CBGB’s, The Bitter End, and Mercury Lounge. He recorded an album as a keyboardist with that same band at Electric Lady Studios. This year he had the thrill of singing on stage at the PNC Arena, with a select choir for Andre Bocelli’s concert.

Olive Coe (Ensemble)
Olive is performing in her second show with PoiemArtistry in Fiddler on the Roof. She was recently in White Christmas (Ensemble). Olive has performed in Junie B. Jones (Gladys Gutzman/Ensemble), High School Musical 2 (Sharpette, Ensemble), Annie (Star-To-Be, Maid, New Yorker, Ensemble), and The Little Mermaid (Carlotta, Unfortunate Soul, Sea Chorus) at various theaters. Olive has 9 years of dance experience in several genres including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. She has danced with several companies including Studio Poiema. Olive loves the arts as she also plays the flute. She love supporting local theater companies. In her free time, Olive enjoys babysitting, writing stories, running, baking, and taking pictures of the world around her. She is very thankful for Poiema and The Green Family as they have helped her grow in tremendous ways and she can’t wait to see how much she and the company will grow!
Sabrina Dew (Golde)
Sabrina is excited to be a part of Poiema Arts production of Fiddler on the Roof. This is her first production with Poiema, but certainly not her last. Sabrina’s theater experience began at a young age with church productions and small roles. She has previously appeared in The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray (Tracy Turnblad), High School Musical (Martha), and The Little Mermaid (Ursula). Sabrina has taught Theatre and Art on and off over the past five years. She currently teaches at a Christian Montessori school in Garner and serves as a Worship Leader at her church. Sabrina gives all glory to God and the path he set her on to become who she is. She would love to give a special thanks to all of her family and friends for their support over the years, but especially to her mom who has supported her in everything from day one.
Michael Dial (Motel)
Michael is performing in his 7th production with PoiemArtistry. His PA stage credits include: The Great Day (Vocal Soloist), Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins (Faithful), Seussical the Musical (General Gengus Khan Schmitz/Wickersham Brother), Titanic (J. Bruce Ismay), and Singin’ in the Rain (RF Simpson), White Christmas (General Waverly), and The Miracle Worker (Stage Manager). Michael recently graduated from Liberty University Online with a degree in Sports Management. He would like to thank his family for supporting him in everything he does, and his amazing voice teacher, Mrs. Lori Tomalonis, for stretching him vocally and believing in him. Good Sabbath!
Naomi Dial (The Fiddler/Ensemble)
Naomi is 25 years old and has been dancing for 19 years. To Naomi, dance is not only a gift, but a passion that God has given her. She is doing her best to glorify God through that gift, as well as share it with others. She has taught students of varying ages at a dance camp for 3 summers, as well as assistant and substitute taught at various dance studios. She is currently teaching technique classes at her church, where they perform choreographed dances on several Sundays throughout the year. She is also teaching Ballet 1 at Studio Poiema. Naomi’s PoiemArtistry credits include The Great Day, Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins, Seussical the Musical, Titanic and Singin’ in the Rain, and White Christmas 2022. Poiema has been a blessing and a great growth opportunity both for her physical self and her spiritual relationship with God. She is so grateful to be a part of the Poiema family. Good Sabbath!
Katy Eldred (Fruma-Sarah)
Katy is delighted to be a part of Fiddler on the Roof as “Fruma-Sarah”. She first started on stage nine years ago with Benson Little Theater, later moving to Harnett Regional Theater. Her Poiema credits include The Robe, White Christmas (2022), or Secret Garden. Katy is forever grateful to Poiema Arts and all they have done for her and the community.
Louise Farmer (Yente)
Louise is thrilled to play “Yente” in this great, classic story. It’s a role she has
looked forward to for a lon time! This is her fifth Poiema production, having been seen in Titanic, Singin’ in the Rain, The Robe, and Secret Garden. Louise really appreciates the opportunity to work with some great people! Much thanks to the Green’s and all glory to God!

Tom Farrell (Lazar Wolf)
Tom is excited to be playing the role of “Lazar Wolf” in his 5th PoiemArtistry production. He previously appeared in Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins (Mr. Legality), Titanic (First Class Stewart Henry Etches), The Robe (Pontius Pilate), and Secret Garden (Ben Weatherspoon).
Tim Gardner (Constable)
Tim is in his fourteenth year as the scenic design and production management instructor at North Raleigh Christian Academy. He has worked with Mr. Green in
designing and building too many shows to mention. From time to time, he has stepped in to play a cast role. These have included Titanic, Annie and West Side Story.

Anastasia Gibson (Ensemble)
Anastasia is excited to be in her third performance with Poiema. Her past roles include “Mrs. Claire Holmes/Jane” Secret Garden and “Martha” in Miracle Worker. Anastasia is a singer/actress/writer and has acted in a few films and had a lead role in the webseries Necroland (“Detective Monica Veers”). She is grateful to be using her talents for God through this company. Anastasia would like to thank her parents and friends for their support and God for leading her to this precious and talented family “for such a time as this”!
Dianne Gibson (Ensemble)
Dianne is blessed to have had her debut with Poiema Arts as “Aunt Ev” The Miracle Worker - thanks to Michael Green and his family! She has done film acting in the recent past, being cast in a couple of independent films and some medical commercials. Dianne is also a singer, currently involved in Cross Assembly’s seasonal choirs. She is always wanting to use her God given talents to glorify her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Caroline Gossett (Ensemble)
Caroline is very excited to be performing in Fiddler on the Roof. After performing in White Christmas for the past two years, this is her third show with Poiema Arts. Caroline has also enjoyed being a part of the Broadway and Contemporary dance classes with Studio Poiema. She is an 8th grade homeschool student who enjoys singing, dancing, writing, drawing, reading, and caring for her cats, dog, and chickens.
Chelsae Green (Tzeitel/Grandma Tzeitel)
Chelsae is honored to be part of PoiemArtistry and Poiema Arts, Inc. She has a B.A. in Dance Studies from Meredith College. For seven years, she was the Dance Director and Choreographer at North Raleigh Christian Academy. Some of her favorite and most memorable shows to produce and choreograph have been Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, White Christmas, Secret Garden, Mary Poppins, and Godspell. Chelsae and her family owned and operated a performing arts studio for 13 years before opening Poiema Arts in 2019. She has instructed hundreds of students in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, contemporary, and musical theater. Chelsae is an ABT® Certified Instructor and has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive, Pre- Primary through Level 7, and Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. She currently serves as a member of the Poiema Arts Board of Directors and Assistant Director/Choreographer for PoiemArtistry. Lyndsae Green (Ensemble)
Lyndsae serves as a founding member and the Associate Dance Director and Choreographer for PoiemArtistry. Lyndsae has been involved in dance and theater since she was 13. She has appeared in many stage productions including White Christmas, The Wiz, The Great Day, Seussical the Musical, The Nutcracker Ballet, and Titanic. As an accomplished dancer, Lyndsae performs and instructs classes in tap, jazz, ballet, hiphop, and modern dance styles. She graduated from the Wake Technical Institute Culinary and Baking School in 2015 and works at local bakery, Edible Art. Lyndsae also owns her own baking and photography businesses which keep her very busy especially during wedding season. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Good Sabbath!
Chichi Hay (Ensemble)
Chichi has been a part of Poiema since 2020 and has loved every minute of it! She has been a part of the Poiema Artistry Productions Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins, Seussical the Musical, Titanic, Singin’ In The Rain, White Christmas (2022/2023), Secret Garden (ASM), and Godspell.. Chichi has also been a part of Studio Poiema and has taken tap, contemporary, hiphop, and acting classes. She is incredibly grateful for the Green family for all of their love, training, and encouragement. Chichi has really connected with them and the mission of healing and redemption that PoiemArtistry represents. She would like to thank her family for all of their unending love and support. And Chichi would especially like to thank her sister, who she is sharing the stage with, for all of her love, friendship, and cheerleading!
Rebekah Hay (Ensemble)
Rebekah is performing in her 9th show with Poiema, and is incredibly excited to be back onstage for Fiddler on the Roof. She is currently in her junior year at NC State University, studying Biochemistry, but has always had a love for dancing and performing. Performing with Poiema has allowed Rebekah to discover parts of herself that would never have been seen otherwise, and has strengthened her spiritually, and relationally. She would like to thank the Green family for pouring into her love of the arts, and her sisters, Chichi and Patti for always inspiring and encouraging her to do things outside of her comfort zone.
Beth Hilbert (Shprintze)
Beth is elated to be performing in her second production with Poiema doing one of her favorite musicals, Fiddler on the Roof, having previously played “Mary Lennox” in PoiemArtistry’s Secret Garden. She has most recently performed with Longleaf School of the Arts (LSA) Theatre Ensemble: Les Miserables: School Edition, The Wiz and Twelfth Night; and, with the LSA Dance Team: The Nutcracker and The Lion King. As a member of NC Theatre Conservatory’s Performance Company, Beth has performed in productions of Mean Girls (Ensemble), Shrek the Musical (Wicked Witch/Ensemble), Working (Amanda/Ensemble), and was most recently cast as the lead in the NCTC’s showcase of Waitress. She has also enjoyed performing at North Raleigh Arts & Creative Theatre and Raleigh Little Theatre (Cinderella). Beth would like to thank all of her theater, dance, and voice teachers for all the training and support they’ve bestowed on her. Beth also wishes to thank her parents, friends, family & church-family for all their years of love and encouragement!
Gabby Iwaszkiewicz (Ensemble)
Gabby is excited to be making her debut with Poemia Arts in Fiddler on the Roof. She recently moved from South Jersey to pursue her BFA in musical theatre at Greensboro College. Gabby has performed is some notable shows including Merrily We Roll Along, Puffs, Sailor’s Song, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, and more! She has danced for 14 years along with teaching classes of her own.
Carson Kidd (Ensemble)
Carson is making his 7th PoiemArtistry appearance in Fiddler on the Roof. He has appeared in Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins (Phobos), Seussical The Musical (Yurtle the Turtle/Vlad Vladikof), Titanic (Jay Yates), Singin’ in the Rain (Sound Engineer), White Christmas (Ensemble), and Godspell (Band). Carson loves theater, because it brings out the best in you that you didn’t even know you had. His other interests are making music and playing sports. Thanks to Mom, Dad, and Mr. Michael Green.
Brent McCready (Tevye)
Brent is thrilled to be back on the Poiema stage playing the role of “Tevye”, Some of his past productions include Singin’ in the Rain (Rod), Titanic (Bride), Similitude of a Dream: The Great Adventure Begins (John Bunyan), The Great Day (Thief), Tarzan (Tarzan), How Love Wins (Thief), Happy Days (Potsie), Mary Poppins (Bert), First Impressions (Wickham), and Fiddler on the Roof (Avram). By weekday, Brent is a marketing manager at ImageQuix, and by weekend, he is a worship leader at Crossroads Fellowship. He wants to thank his family for the endless love and support in all his crazy adventures.
