White Christmas 2023
Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages.

Meet the Cast
Olive Coe (Ensemble)
Olive is 13 years old and currently an 8th grader at Endeavor Charter School.
This is her first production with Poiema Arts! Olive recently performed in Annie Jr, Junie B.
Jones and High School Musical, at various theaters in the area. She has danced for 8 1/2 years,
mainly in ballet, tap, and jazz. Olive loves playing flute, piano, and singing. In her free time she
enjoys running, creating art, and going to the theater.
This is her first production with Poiema Arts! Olive recently performed in Annie Jr, Junie B.

Michael Dial (General Henry Waverly)
Michael is performing in his sixth production with PoiemArtistry. His PA stage credits include: The Great Day (Vocal Soloist), Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins (Faithful), Seussical the Musical (General Gengus Khan Schmitz/Wickersham Brother), Titanic (J. Bruce Ismay), Singin’ in the Rain (RF Simpson), and White Christmas 2022 (General Waverly). Michael recently graduated from Liberty University Online with a degree in Sports Management. He would like to thank his family and his wife, Naomi, for supporting him in everything he does.
Naomi Dial (Ensemble)
Naomi is 24 years old and has been dancing for 19 years. To Naomi, dance is not only a gift, but a passion that God has given her. She is doing her best to glorify God through that gift, as well as share it with others. She has taught students of varying ages at a dance camp for 3 summers, as well as assistant and substitute taught at various dance studios. She is currently teaching technique classes at her church, where they perform choreographed dances on several Sundays throughout the year. She is also teaching Ballet 1 at Studio Poiema. Naomi’s PoiemArtistry credits include The Great Day, Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins, Seussical the Musical, Titanic and Singin’ in the Rain, and White Christmas 2022. Poiema has been a blessing and a great growth opportunity both for her physical self and her spiritual relationship with God. She is so grateful to be a part of the Poiema family.
Tiffany Dye (Ensemble)
Tiffany is performing in her fourth production with PoiemArtistry in White Christmas. She appeared in Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins (Mary Bunyan), Seussical, the Musical (Ensemble), and Singin’ in the Rain (Ensemble). Tiffany enjoys fine arts and looks forward to participating in many more productions. Special thanks to Mom, Dad, Preston, and Reagan for their support and guidance.
Alex Gossett (Mr. Snoring Man/Ensemble)
Alex is performing in his third production with PoiemArtistry. His introduction to theater was last spring when he was a part of the Broadway dance class with Studio Poiema. Alex is a junior in high school and homeschooled. He loves to play the piano and listen to music. He enjoys playing sports, especially baseball, volleyball, spike ball and ultimate frisbee. Alex is also a part of a homeschool speech and debate club, where he won first place at a tournament in the informative speech category and then competed at the National Championship.
Caroline Gossett (Ensemble)
Sean Gossett (Bob Wallace)
Sean is excited to return to the PoiemArtistry stage. After traveling with a music group in high school as a trumpet player and singer, Sean attended Appalachian State University, where he marched in the band and earned a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance. There, he also sang with the University Singers and Chamber Singers. He also attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX, where he earned a Master of Music with voice concentration. At SWBTS, he performed as a soloist for Southwestern Singers in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with the Fort Worth Symphony at Bass Performance Hall. He has studied voice with Martin McGlamery, Randall Outland and Stanley Warren. He also has extensive experience in music ministry, serving churches in North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee and Florida, directing adult choirs, orchestras, handbell choirs and other musical groups. Currently, Sean and his family attend Cross Assembly in Raleigh, where he serves in the worship ministry. He thanks his wife, Anna, and their five children for their enthusiastic support and encouragement in this performance!
Chelsae Green (Assistant Director/Co-Choreographer/Rhoda)
Chelsae is honored to be part of PoiemArtistry and Poiema Arts, Inc. In 2011, she graduated with a B.A. in Dance Studies from Meredith College. Upon graduation, she accepted a teaching position at North Raleigh Christian Academy, where she taught dance and was the Assistant Theater Director and Choreographer for seven years. Some of her favorite and most memorable shows to produce and choreograph have been Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, White Christmas, Secret Garden, and Mary Poppins. Chelsae and her family owned and operated a performing arts studio for 13 years before opening Poiema Arts in 2019. She has instructed hundreds of students in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, contemporary, and musical theater. Chelsae is an ABT® Certified Instructor and has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive, Pre- Primary through Level 7, and Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. She currently serves as a member of the Poiema Arts Board of Directors and Assistant Director/Choreographer for PoiemArtistry. Chelsae would like to thank the entire cast and crew for their dedication and making our vision a reality! Merry Christmas!
Grace Green (Judy Haynes)
Grace is excited to return to the stage in PoiemArtistry’s, White Christmas. Her previous credits include White Christmas 2022 (Judy Haynes), Singin’ in the Rain (Kathy Selden), The Robe (Cornelia Gallio), Seussical the Musical (Gertrude McFuzz), Similitude:The Great Adventure Begins (Eva), and The Great Day, as a member of the Chorus and Dance Ensemble. Grace enjoys PoiemArtistry, as she has met like-minded creatives that encourage her to be the best she can be, and desire God to be glorified, above all else.
Isaac Green (Phil Davis)
Isaac has been around theater since he was 4 years old and has been active in theater since he was 11 years – acting, dancing, singing, and directing. Isaac is an accomplished tap dancer and enjoys all styles of dance. He has been a part of over 10 musicals including Pirates of Penzance (Frederick), Godspell (Jesus), Pride and Prejudice (Mr. Bingley), West Side Story, The Nutcracker Ballet, Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins (Worldly Wiseman), Seussical the Musical (The Cat in the Hat), Titanic (Thomas Andrews), Singin’ in the Rain (Don Lockwood), White Christmas 2022 (Phil Davis), and The Secret Garden (Dr. Neville Craven). He has also had extensive training in stage flight operation, design, and directing. Isaac is thankful for the opportunity to work and perform with the cast and crew of PoiemArtistry!
Lyndsae Green (Co-Choreographer/Mrs. Snoring Man/Dance Captain)
Lyndsae serves as a founding member and the Associate Dance Director and Choreographer for PoiemArtistry. Lyndsae has been involved in dance and theater since she was 13. She has appeared in many stage productions including White Christmas, The Wiz, The Great Day, Seussical the Musical, The Nutcracker Ballet, and Titanic. As an accomplished dancer, she performs and instructs classes in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Modern dance styles. Lyndsae graduated from the Wake Technical Institute Culinary and Baking School in 2015 and works at local bakery, Edible Art. Lyndsae also owns her own baking and photography businesses which keep her very busy especially during wedding season. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Sarah Hargett (Rita)
Sarah started learning to act in 2006 and hasn’t stopped since! With PoiemArtistry, she has played "Charlotte Cardoza" in Titanic, "Diana" in The Robe, “Mrs. Medlock” in The Secret Garden, and will play “Anne Sullivan” in The Miracle Worker in the new year. She also acts with Field of Dreams Performing Arts, where she was "Mrs. Phelps" in Matilda: The Musical, “Miss Scarlet” in Clue: On Stage, and is currently in rehearsal to play “Audrey” in Little Shop of Horrors. She would like to say a big thank you to Mr. Green for instilling in her a love of acting, and Chelsae and Lyndsae for teaching her how to dance
ChiChi Hay (Candy Girl/Ensemble)
ChiChi has been a part of Poiema since 2020 and has loved every minute of it! She has played the role of ensemble in the Poiema Artistry Productions Similitude, Suessical the Musical, Titanic, Singing In The Rain, White Christmas 2022 and Godspell. Chichi has also been a part of Studio Poiema and has taken Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Acting classes. She also has previous experience taking dance lessons in Ballet(7 years), Jazz(3 years), Hip Hop(3 years) and Modern Dance(2 years). Chichi is so thankful for the safe space that Poiema has been to her in the past 3 1/2 years and is so thankful for the entire Green family. Chichi wants to say a special thank you to Mr. Green for his mentorship and his investment into helping her become the best she can be. Chichi would also love to say thank you to her incredible parents, her two sisters, and her one little brother! They have really shaped her into who she is today and have always encouraged her to follow her dreams.
Rebekah Hay (Ensemble)
Rebekah is thrilled to be in her 7th production with Poiema. Rebekah has been a part of Poiema for 3 years, and performed in the acting and dance ensembles for Similitude: the Great Adventure Begins, Seussical the Musical, Titanic the Musical, and Singin’ in the Rain, and White Christma 2022, Secret Garden, and Godspell. She has taken dance lessons for 14 years, and loves dancing and singing, as well as playing guitar. Rebekah has loved every minute of being in Poiema, and it has stretched her and brought her out of her comfort zone in ways she never imagined. She would like to thank her parents for encouraging her to try new things, and the Green family for believing in her.
Christian Houston (Ensemble)
Christian is excited to be performing in his sixth PoiemArtistry production. He appeared in Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins (Mimetus), Seussical the Musical (Ensemble), Titanic and Singing in the Rain, and White Christmas 2022 (Ensemble). Christian has participated in musical theater since he was in the 6th grade. He has performed in additional productions including The Little Mermaid, Music Man, Peter Pan. Christian is excited to be doing White Christmas this year.

Abigail Jordan (Martha)
Abigail is delighted to return to the Poiema stage after performing as “Martha” in The Secret Garden this spring. Big thanks to Michael, Chelsae, and the creative WC team for believing in her and including her in this holiday adventure! She has performed with, directed, stage managed, and designed makeup for dozens of productions with Triangle theaters including Harnett Regional, Solace, Cary Players, Forest Moon, Actor’s Comedy Lab, Raleigh Little Theatre, Neuse Little Theatre, Towne Players of Garner, Sonorous Road, NRACT, and Bare Theatre. Thanks to my incredibly patient family for their unfailing encouragement and support - ILYMGB! Merry Christmas to all, and a joyful New Year, too! Isaiah 9:6-7
Bailey Medlin (Susan Waverly)
Bailey is appearing in her seventh production with PoiemArtistry. She was previously in Godspell as “Anna Maria” and last year she shared the role of “Susan” in White Christmas. Now she is reprising the role. Bailey has also acted in several productions with Field of Dreams Performing Arts, appearing in roles including “Young Nala” in Lion King Jr., and “Fairy Godmother” in Cinderella (Street Players Version). Bailey has been trained in Broadway Dance, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Tap. She is also taking private voice lessons with Poiema Studios to help grow her voice. She loves to play the piano and has participated in piano festivals locally. Bailey is a certified scuba diver and you can find her working and diving at Fantasy Lake Adventure Park during the summers. She also loves to write movies and books. Bailey would like to thank PoiemArtistry for giving her the opportunity to do what she loves and to her loving family, who has constantly supported her in the arts.
Sean Neal (Ensemble)
Sean is excited to be making her Poeima Arts debut with this production of White Christmas, a personal holiday favorite. She has previously performed in Spiritual Twist Productions’ Beauty and the Beast and Esther. Music has been a constant throughout the years, from performing in choirs at school and church, to playing guitar and piano, to singing in the car. When she’s not singing, Sean is designing graphics and managing an in-house creative team for a local public media organization. She would like to thank the cast for welcoming her to the production, and Gina and Natalie for their support.
Alex Peters (Jimmy/Ensemble)
Alex is thrilled to be part of his fourth production as a member PoiemArtistry. He has been involved in the arts for over a decade now, having been in several musicals, plays, and has participated in various vocal and instrumental ensembles showcased at a number of major North Carolina colleges. Alex was offered several scholarships in the arts while graduating from high school and plans on furthering his education through one day earning his doctorate in music performance while balancing his budding career in the finance & investment industry. He thanks God for helping him remain disciplined in his pursuit of excellence and allowing him to spread the gospel through the arts, as well as his mother for supporting his passions and keeping him grounded. Alex would also like to give a special thank you to Poiema Arts for all that they pour into their members and community; he aspires to remain with Poiema Arts for as long as they’ll have him.
Michele Robertson (Tessie/Costumer)
Michele is excited to perform in her fourth production with PoiemArtistry. She was previously seen in Similitude:The Great Adventure Begins as “Margaret Bunyan”, Seussical the Musical as “Ensemble”, Titanic as “Madame Aubere”, “Wardrobe Mistress” in Singin’ in the Rain, . Michele grew up in Nebraska where she was involved in theater and music throughout high school and college. Her theatrical credits include playing “Gilmer” in Godspell, and Anything Goes. She was a member of her high school dance team, played flute in concert and marching band for 8 years,and has been singing in choirs since the age of 12. She currently sings with her praise team at Wakefield Central Baptist Church in Zebulon. Michele is currently on the costume team with PoiemArtistry and enjoys crafting of all kinds and has a passion for photography. She has been married to her husband Kirk for 32 years and their daughter, Naomi, is in PoiemArtistry’s dance company. Michele is excited to be part of this company and feels the Lord stretching, challenging and encouraging her through her participation. She is grateful for the love, support and family atmosphere, and the opportunity to re-explore her love of theater in a God-centered way.
David Robinson (Ralph Sheldrake/Ensemble)
David was born and raised in Knightdale, NC and is the youngest of 7 siblings. White Christmas is David’s 9th production with PoiemArtistry. David appeared in his very first show with Poiema, The Great Day (Ensemble), in 2019. He has since then continued to perform in several other shows such as Similitude: The Great Adventure (Phobos), Seussical the Musical (Yurtle the Turtle/Vlad Vladikoff), Titanic (4th Officer Pitman/The Major), Singin’ in the Rain (2nd Assistant Director), The Robe (Quintus Lucian), and White Christmas (Ezekiel Foster). He has been a member of PoiemArtistry for 3 years, and has had a love for theater and the arts ever since he was 8 years old. David is also a musician and currently studying music theory through Studio Poiema.
Johnathan Robinson (Mike Nulty/Ensemble)
Johnathan was born in Kirksville, Missouri, but raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. His parents are John and Sheryl Robinson. He joined PoiemArtistry almost 5 years ago and has been in previous productions such as The Great Day (Ensemble), Similitude: The Great Adventure Begins (Distazo), Seussical the Musical (Wickersham Brother), Titanic (Frederick Fleet), Singin’ in the Rain (Cosmo Brown), and The Robe (Sarpedon). He looks forward to his bright future with Poiema and the expansion of God’s Kingdom through the arts.
Christopher Shively (Ensemble)
Christopher is originally from Youngstown, OH but now calls NC home.
He played “Edgar Beene” in the prestigious show Titanic (2022) and is currently playing the character "Marty" in White Christmas. He has a background in music and art which is where he gets his love for musicals.

Dorea Thompson (Ensemble)
Dorea was a part of PoiemArtistry’s first show in the city of Raleigh, The Great Day (2018) and has rejoined the theatre for this year’s White Christmas production. She is currently a junior college student studying for her bachelors degree in elementary education. She serves on two executive boards for student organizations in NC A&T University. She also teaches at Christian Life Academy as an elementary social studies teacher. Dorea would like to give a special thanks to her parents, siblings and nieces for their support. God Bless!
